The Hailey Black School of Dance is a fun, welcoming, confidence building dance school based in Wakefield which offers dance tuition for children from 18 months-18 years. We follow the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus (IDTA) and offer lots of performance opportunities throughout the year. Students are encouraged to develop their natural ability, talents and creativity in a safe and friendly environment. Splat Messy Play and Splat Messy Babies provides an environment where babies and children can explore different colours, textures and shapes. Tutu's & Unicorns fairytale ballet, and Street Kidz street dance classes. Tutu's & Unicorns provides fairytale ballet classes for children aged 16 months to 7 years+. Developing early years physical and cognitive skills is essential so that children can not only become beautiful ballerinas, but can excel in life with confidence and self esteem! Classes enable children to develop their; posture, alignment, poise, coordination, rhythm, creativity, balance, physical and numeric literacy, strength, fitness, determination, problem solving, communication, listening skills, focus, discipline, following instructions, spatial planning, self expression, empathy and compassion, social skills, cultural awareness, identity, inclusion, diversity, ... and so much more! All whilst having lots of fun, using creative props and making new friends! Children achieve stickers, certificates and trophies and are able to participate in our stage show productions. Street Kidz provides empowering street dance classes for kids age 18 months to 12 years plus. Embracing the JOY of early years. At Joy, we empower parents to navigate their child’s early years with confidence. Through baby classes, parent coaching, and postnatal support, we provide expert, compassionate guidance, grounded in over two decades of early years expertise. JOYful Developmental Baby Massage (4weeks - 7months) The class is built around developing the physical skills and strength that, over time, support your baby to co-ordinate movement, grasp, roll, sit and crawl. We sing, massage, move baby through yoga and gymnastic movements and ensure lots of kisses and snuggles. The second half of the class is a hot drink, a bottomless biscuit tin and a chance to chat with other parents. JOYful Movers (7months - Confident Walker) The class focuses on building confidence in your baby’s changing physical skills. We continue to work on strength and strong foundations for crawling and walking. There is lots of gymnastics and rough and tumble type play so prepare for a work out! The session is also designed to encourage early communication and language skills through singing, signing, instruments and interactive games.
