My aim is to provide the children with a safe space to explore music, by singing, learning actions, dancing, listening and playing instruments. It is also a great opportunity for them to develop their social skills and very importantly have some fun! The classes are inclusive of all children and all care givers. The sessions are limited to 12 children, this makes for an intimate session where we can all get to know each other better. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to bring siblings to a class together please choose the session most suited to your oldest child, both children must then be booked in under their separate names. If this is done in one transaction a sibling discount of 25% off per child will be applied at the payment stage. If you are bringing siblings but your youngest child is under 1 year please contact me on ali.watson@thejollymelodiesmusiccompany.co.uk so I can assist you further and accommodate your needs.

Top quality maths tutoring delivered by qualified teachers within a small group setting. Offering professional, high quality, syllabus based maths tutoring programmes. The session cost starts at £16 (45-50min class)- this price includes the live session as well as a follow up link of the recording of the class for students to recap misconceptions and make progression through further questions.

Our mini musical theatre syllabus is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets the standards for learning, development and care of a child from birth to 5 years old. We choose to create our classes and activities to link with and promote the 7 key areas of the EYFS, thereby supporting your child to have the best early learning experience to promote their all-round development.

We are not a distance learning provider or school but rather are a community of home-educators who organise face-to-face and online classes with the aim of providing other home-educating families access to affordable classes from 5 to 18 years. The aim is to work together with families to support their children’s study while still maintaining that the majority of their learning journey will take place with the active engagement of their parents. So in essence, we are parents, who are choosing to home educate together with other parents. We hope that you will find the classes and community beneficial to your own home-educating journey in the years to come.

Reading Rockets Basketball Club provide community basketball programmes through their Mini Basketball Hubs for children age 4-12, their Satellite Programme for young players age 13-18 and also through their SEN programme for young players with additional needs. All the Rockets programmes provide a really positive learning environment which caters for girls and boys of all abilities.
